VISION

Joshua Maynard Ministries is a non-denominational ministry dedicated to discipleship and reformation within the Christian faith. Our mission is to guide individuals and families towards a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them to use their gifts for His glory and to make disciples. We believe in the transformative power of faith and strive to create a community where everyone can grow spiritually and live out their faith authentically.

About Joshua

I’ve been a believer since my early childhood. I was an active piano player in the early 2000’s and wrote several albums which are now available through most online music services and on YouTube.

In 2009, God’s grace impacted my life significantly through Andrew Wommack Ministries and I received several healings in my body.

In 2010 I started Joshua Maynard Ministries to share what I’ve learned and continue to learn about God’s love and grace. I realized that God had a plan for my life and had gifted me to be able to teach.

Statement of faith

  • We believe the Bible was inspired by God through the Holy Spirit to those who recorded it. It is inerrant, infallible when revealed to man by the Holy Spirit. Through it, we learn who God is, who we are, and how to live for God. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and the ultimate authority concerning the will of God for man to live by.
  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. All equally important and each of them uniquely purposed towards us in one accord.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived as one of us, fully God in human flesh, yet without man’s sin. He fulfilled every point of the law in the Old Covenant and every prophecy concerning the Messiah.
  • We believe that Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He became sin, without committing sin, accepting the fullness of God’s wrath and judgment for all of our sins for all time, that we would not receive judgment. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the only intercessor between God and man.
  • We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that faith in Jesus Christ alone is required to receive salvation. Salvation is given by God as a free gift. Salvation is not based on our works. It isn’t earned by our good works, nor lost or taken from us because of our evil works; We believe Salvation can be rejected.
  • We believe that faith in Christ Jesus to save us and forgive us is Godly repentance, and that repentance by faith is required to keep our hearts turned towards God that we would not forsake our Salvation.
  • We believe that justification, regeneration, and a new birth in our spirits is from the Holy Spirit, received through the spirit of Christ Jesus living in us.
  • We believe in sanctification through faith in the blood of Christ. This sanctification occurs by the Word and the Holy Spirit in receiving Salvation, as a definite, completed work of grace in our spirits; We also believe this sanctification is a progressive work of grace in our soul and body through a believer’s consistent renewal by the Word, and by the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe that we should strive for holiness in our living as much as possible. We should choose not to sin willfully, that we would have a heart that is turned towards God, open to receiving everything that God has for us, and give no place for the Devil to work in our lives.
  • We believe in water baptism by immersion, and that all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, if they so choose. This for the simple reason of giving an outwardly visible expression of the work of Salvation within their spirit.
  • We believe in the baptism of, the releasing of the Holy Spirit to work in our lives, subsequent to salvation through Christ Jesus, as a separate gift of God from Salvation. We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift given freely by Jesus Christ from the Father that must first be accepted in order to be effective in the life of a believer. The baptism is for all who have received salvation through Christ Jesus. The gifts of the Spirit are for all believers and have not passed away.
  • We believe in speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance to edify others, and in speaking with other tongues as needed to edify our own spirits as well.
  • We believe that God has already provided healing, miracles, blessing, prosperity, favor and everything we need to live long, successful, overcoming lives in the atonement of Christ Jesus.
  • We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s supper, for our benefit, in remembering what Christ Jesus gave for us.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for those who reject the free gift of salvation by Christ Jesus.
