‘New Testament’ does not equal ‘New Covenant’
Not everything you read from the books of Matthew through Revelation is ‘New Covenant’.

Jesus, who knew no sin, became sin, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Everyone picks and chooses what scriptures to believe.
Don’t fool yourself into thinking that you are any different.
Once you can accept this, you may find you pick and choose less and believe more.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Everyone interprets scripture.
Some may interpret better than others or have revelations that are easier to understand, but who is to say which ones are correct?
Thery are all merely different perspectives of the same book of faith.
Let the Holy Spirit be your guide.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
An America governed in Christian values as they stand today would have no religious freedom because Christianity has become one of the most intolerant and non-inclusive religions.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
When people say they want America to return to our “Christian heritage”, what they are really saying is that they want Christians to turn from Grace back to the Law.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Returning to the “Jewish roots” in Christianity is not unlike an adopted pet choosing to return to the cage at the shelter.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
“All things work together for good” was never meant to become synonymous with “God allowed or caused this tragedy to bring about some greater good”.
Such misinterpretations of scripture have led to attributing the works of the Devil to God.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Religion says, “Live holy”.
God says, “You are holy”.
Religion says, “You aren’t holy enough.”
God says, “You are holy.”
Religion says, “You are still sinning.”
God says, “You are holy.”
Religion says, “God isn’t pleased with you.”
God says, “Stop listening to religion.”
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Jesus has set you free.
Free to live.
Free to love.
Free from sin.
Don’t let religious traditions make you a slave to a different sin called self-righteousness.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
When you believe that you are in a covenant with God, it is easy to fall into condemnation when you mess up.
The covenant is really between our Heavenly Father and His Son.
You are a partaker of its benefits, and you can’t mess it up.
That is why “there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
God didn’t tell us to cast a mountain into the sea.
He told us to speak to it.
Sometimes we complicate what God has made simple.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
You can spend your whole life trying to live holy to please God and never show love to a single person.
It’s not about how little you sin.
It’s about how much you love others.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
God is not ‘allowing’ nor orchestrating the tragedies that happen in this world.
God has given dominion of the Earth to man.
Satan is defeated.
We have only ourselves to blame for not affecting a positive change in our world.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Easter is less about death than it is about life.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Jesus chose death that we might choose life.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
People quote scriptures all the time from the Bible to support beliefs that are opposed to the Gospel message.
If you believe something just because of what a scripture says, you may be like a reed in the wind with your beliefs swayed every direction the wind blows.
Relationship with God and hearing from the Holy Spirit to reveal Truth is the key to stability.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
If you confess your sins, you aren’t confessing according to the truth.
Confession for the saint is about agreeing with what God says about you, and He says, “I have forgiven and forgotten your sins and in Me you are righteous and unblameable.”
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Faith doesn’t give you permission to do something foolish.
Flesh gives you permission to do something foolish.
Flesh often masquerades as Faith.
Discernment when properly applied will expose your flesh and keep you on the right path.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
I will preach the unpopular messages that are not politically correct.
I will preach messages that stir people to think.
I will preach messages that cause people to ask questions.
I will preach messages that provoke people to love.
I will preach messages that call people to action.
Those messages are the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
My faith is not your faith, and your faith isn’t my faith either.
Our faith is His faith, and we should live by it.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Everyone is given a measure of faith.
Everyone has something to contribute to the body of Christ in their own unique way.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
The question shouldn’t be, “why isn’t everyone healed?”
The question should be, “why aren’t Christians healing the sick?”
God asked us to simply BELIEVE.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
I AM is an ACTIVE God. The God of NOW.
If you are living in the PAST, or worried about the FUTURE, you may miss out on what God has for you TODAY.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
While you are waiting on God to move, He is waiting for you to decide.
Did you think He was going to make your decisions for you?
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
A revelation of God’s love for us can only come when the Gospel is recognized, and faith is realized.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Religion seeks to exclude, divide and judge.
Christ welcomes all, tears down walls of division and does not judge what was already judged in His flesh for all mankind.
Wherever there is exclusion, division or judgment, the Spirit of the Lord is not there.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Chasing after a “double portion” has drawn people away from the truth that they have the Fullness of God living in them that is without measure and without portion.
– Bishop Joshua Maynard
Jesus introduced us to our real Father and adopted us into His family.
